Veronica Ortega was originally born in Cádiz (South of Spain). She has become one of the most promising wine makers in Spain. Her winery is located in Bierzo Region in North west of Spain, were she produces elegant and delicate red wines from Mencia Grape and small amount of white Godello grape.

​

After worked in Priorat with Alvaro Palacios and Romanée-Conti in Burgundy, she produce her first vintage in a small space in Raul Perez winery, where she made a couple of vintages after moving to her own winery. 

​

Veronica always use old vineyards for the production, her grapes are product of organic farming and her wines are produced as naturally as possible only adding minimal doses of sulphur for keeping the wine safe. 

​

Ortega and our Wine Director Miguel Martinez will be delightfully curating this wine pairing with a delectable food menu by our Executive Chef Carlos Garcia.
